Meet our Pastors

Drs. Edwin and Renae have a God given gift of delivering the Word of God to the people of God. They are masterful in their approach to shepherding their flock by counseling, healing, teaching, and preaching. It is their earnest desire to see every soul come to Jesus for salvation, and for God’s people to learn about God’s promises of freedom, liberation, and redemption. They want to “Save the Lost at any Cost”. With sincerity, they open their hearts and their home to many sons and daughters. Together they have nurtured, instructed and aided in the development of their ever-growing flock. They are Pastors who are real and reachable.

Dr. Edwin accepted Christ at the age of five. Although he was called “Lil Preacher” everywhere his mother took him as a child, he did everything he could to keep from answering the call the Lord put on his life. Once he submitted to the will of God, he found solace in pleasing God with his preaching ministry. He has served as an Associate Minister for St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Faith Temple Church of God, and Assistant to the Chaplain at the Cuyahoga Hills Boys School.He has championed many noble causes including a prison ministry, and the founding of Shabach Ministries, a thriving youth outreach ministry in the early 90s. God has blessed him with musical prowess; he has ministered in song by writing, playing and singing, he has recorded albums, directed Messengers of Joy, Cleveland State University’s Gospel Choir, and led the Regina High School Gospel Choir to many prestigious awards. He is the Co-Founder, Pastor, and Establishmentarian of Way of Escape Ministries, which he feels is “One of God’s greatest church families anywhere”.

Dr. Renae gave her life to Christ at the age of twelve. Her zeal for the Kingdom grew along with her eagerness to develop an intimate relationship with God. As she learned more about herself in Christ, she acknowledged and accepted her call to the preaching ministry.She was ordained under the hand of Bishop John. L. Hilton at Faith Temple Church of God where she served as Associate Minister, Youth Director and Parish Pastor. Dr. Renae has served as Youth Director of the Christ Center Fellowship of Churches (CCFC), director of Cleveland State University’s Gospel Choir, “Messengers of Joy”, and teacher/ facilitator at a number of seminars for women and youth.

True servants of the Most High God, they are stewards of their calling before Christ. Drs. Edwin and Renae are living testimonies, and living ministry. They have accepted the calling to remain in God’s service forever more.
